Stephen Berry

Stephen Berry was lucky enough to spend many of his childhood years growing up in Johannesburg and later Mpumalanga. This developed a love for photographing the urban sludge of Johannesburg and the natural geographic beauty of the bush. He feels that this contrast gives an interesting diversity to his work.

"I never photograph something that I don't think is fun and never accept a project that I don't feel I will enjoy."

He has been taking photographs for the last 35 years and because of his philosophy, has
enjoyed every project he has undertaken. The wide
range of subject matter and the quality of
his work demonstrates this.

He recently returned from a photographic trip to Mocambique
and once again, the diversity of his work is
demonstrated in his recent photographs.
He enjoys interesting challenges and capturing
"that moment" on film.

"Captured moments are what makes a
photograph special because that
scene will never be seen again.
It is a moment in time."

His work is featured in the Art Afrique
Art Tour that takes place weekly
at the Legacy Group's three propertys -
the Da Vinci, the Michelangelo
and the Raffael.

His limited edition signed photographs
